Biography of Facebook Founder – Mark Elliot Zuckerberg (born May 14, 1984) is an Internet programmer and internet entrepreneur. He is best known for creating the social networking website Facebook with his friend, with whom he became an executive officer as well as president.
Facebook was founded as a private company in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg and his classmates Dustin Moskovitz, Eduardo Saverin, and Chris Hughes while students at Harvard University. In 2010, Zuckerberg was voted Time magazine’s Person of the Year. In 2011, his personal fortune was estimated at $17.55 billion.
Mark Zuckerberg was born in 1984 in White Plains, New York to Karen, a psychiatrist, and Edward Zuckerberg, a dentist. She and her three sisters, Randi, Donna, and Arielle, grew up in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Zuckerberg grew up a Jew and underwent a bar mitzvah when he was 13, although he has so far established him as an atheist.
At Ardsley High School, Zuckerberg was of high quality in classical subjects before moving to Phillips Exeter Academy in his freshman year, where he received not a few prizes in science (mathematics, astronomy, and physics) as well as classical science (in his college enrolment form, Zuckerberg included French, Hebrew, Latin, and Ancient Greek in a column of non-English languages that he could listen to and write) and was a fencing star and captain of the fencing team. In college, he was known for quoting various sentences from epic poems such as the Iliad.
At a party his fraternity held in his sophomore year at university, Zuckerberg met Priscilla Chan, a Chinese-American student from suburban Boston (Braintree, Massachusetts), and they’ve been dating, briefly, since 2003. In September 2010, Zuckerberg invited Chan, a medical student at the University of California, San Francisco, to move into his rented palo alto home. Mark Zuckerberg speaks Mandarin Chinese every day in preparation for his second visit to China in December 2010. In 2010, Facebook was blocked by the country’s Internet firewall.
On Zuckerberg’s Facebook profile, he expressed an interest in “openness, creating something that helps people connect and share all the factors that matter to them, revolution, the teaching of information, minimalism”. Zuckerberg prefers to watch blue because of the red-green color blindness he experiences; blue is also the majority color on Facebook.
Zuckerberg is a subsidiary of Alpha Epsilon Pi. At first Mark Zuckerberg was just a student at Harvard University. Zuckerberg then built a social networking system for his class. But after he built the system, in fact, not a few people were involved in it. The system has gradually captured the nearest university from where it went to college, and this is the beginning of the Facebook that we know at this time.

It was from this situation that Mark Zuckerberg took the initiative to deploy the network system. Zuckerberg first deployed the system and named it Facebook. Zuckerberg and his friends then rented an area in Palo Alto, California as an area to spread Facebook. It was a preoccupation with spreading the Facebook project, so Zuckerberg forgot about his lectures. Zuckerberg is faced with difficult choices between choosing his education aka the economic affairs of the project he is developing. With an optimistic attitude Zuckerberg and his friends chose to leave their college, as well as focus on the Facebook project.
