Storyline In Gu Family Book
The drama follows a half-demon human being as a legendary creature named Choi Kang Chi played by Lee Seung Gi. However, conflict swirled over him because he wanted to be a complete human being. At first, Kang Chi doesn’t understand why it was created in such a way that the puzzle can unfold when you watch the play come to an end.
Actually, the half-demon form owned by Kang Chi comes from his father. His father, Gu Wol Ryung, was a sacred creature of mountain guards or commonly referred to as gumiho. Once upon a time, Wol Ryung saw a girl trying to save herself from the torment that chained her.
The pain was gained by the girl because of the treason committed by her own father’s friend Jo Gwang Woong, which led to her being sold to become a court prostitute. The girl is Yoon Seo Hwa, the mother of Kang Chi.
The rescue action performed by Wol Ryung to Seo Hwa keeps the two close and eventually marries. As a gumiho, Wol Ryung is determined to transform into a complete human being in order to live happily side by side with his wife. This can be done on the condition that he must find the Gu Family Book.
However, while Seo Hwa was pregnant, her husband was murdered by a former friend of her father who had betrayed her. After birth, the child was named Choi Kang Chi, a semi-demon and was swept away by her mother before her mother died.
After the age of 20, Kang Chi wanted to be a complete human being, just as his father had wanted before him. This also makes him must meet the same requirements, namely having to find the Gu Family Book. In the course of its journey, many problems and twists and turns are faced.
Choi Kang Chi meets Dam Yeol Wool, played by Bae Suzy. From then on, the seeds of romance between the two began to emerge and continued to grow deeper. There are various conflicts facing both.
Valuable Lessons To Take from Gu Family Book
This historical drama teaches people to be human in real nature. A man with a savage heart is not worthy of being called a human being. In fact, man has been given hearts and minds to use properly.
When the heart becomes bad, there is no difference between man and another creature. It is supposed to reflect a good attitude by caring for others. Preferably, stay away from selfishness because humans can’t live on their own, always needing others to move on.
And allah is All-Ing, All-Wise. This also applies to feelings. However, it will be better when man is able to hold a commitment to what he has said.
Gu Family Book also gives an idea of when the soul mate will come in time by the right person anyway. No match was exchanged. No matter how hard it is to force, when it is not married then it is very difficult not even possible to unite.
Man Cannot Fight Destiny
Not least, the play also asserts that surely man cannot fight what is destined for him by the Almighty, such as death. Death cannot be forced to be postponed. So, the key is to be grateful for life.
To find out in detail, we recommend watching Gu Family Book live. Thus, there will not be a single scene missed. Coupled with the fun presented, you will dissolve and enjoy the story very much.
