Quoted from IMDb.com, this film is the story of Dr. Frank Walton and Dr. Zoe McConnel who researched a serum called “Lazarus”. The serum will be used to help coma patients stay alive and its research is sponsored by Warner-Goss Biotechnical.
They invited a documentary filmmaker named Eva, to make a film about the invention and their team formed by Niko and Clay. In addition, they also asked Eva to make a documentary about an experiment on a dead dog.
Unexpectedly, Lazarus was able to resurrect the animal but with a different manner. They decided to keep the discovery a secret. However, President Dalley terminated their project on the grounds that the experiment violated the Review Board.
As it turned out, all their research was stolen by Werner-Goss shareholder Crylonis Pharmaceutical. Frank asked his team to go back to the laboratory and redouble his experiments to prove that they had patents on the Lazarus serum.
Unfortunately, there was an accident that happened to Zoe that caused her to be electrocuted and died. Frank eventually decides to use Lazarus to resurrect him.
