Baby Growth 0 – 1 Month

At this age, the baby will respond when you perform stimulation on the lips or tip of the tongue. Your baby may suck your finger or move its jaw like it’s swallowing in response to your stimulation. He has been able to see even though his view is limited to 20-35 cm only.

A 1-month-old baby often bends his limbs while sleeping on his back. You can try to bend the body when you do it to train the neck muscles to be stronger.

Due to undirectional hand movements, the 1-month-old baby has not been able to reach nearby objects. However, even so, it can already grip your fingers or clothes tightly. Beware if the nails have not been cut because at this age the baby often seems to want to suck his own fingers.

Babies of this age still spend a lot of time sleeping. Sleep can help his brain develop more rapidly. Therefore, you are advised to give her stimuli often by inviting her to talk while looking into her eyes for optimal baby growth.

Baby Growth 1 – 2 Months

At this age you may experience even more excitement because your baby has started to respond a lot. He can already smile in response when you ask him to talk. He will also kick or even make a noise when you listen to him.

Growing up this age baby has been able to grasp the objects you give him. Often his hands have difficulty removing when he has managed to grasp. The grip of his hand began to open and close. Besides, his neck is getting stronger. He had already started trying to lift his head while lying face down.

As for his speaking ability, he can already issue more expressions such as blowing, glaring and raising eyebrows. The baby will begin to make noises when you talk to him. Try to return his smile so that he knows that his actions get a response.

Baby Growth 2 -3 Months

His motor skills have grown rapidly. He can already touch and even reach objects within his reach. It is necessary to be vigilant by not putting sharp and dangerous objects nearby. His neck muscles were strong for him to lift his own head. At the end of this age, the baby may already be able to flip his own body. Give him credit when he manages to do that.

He will be better at playing with his fingers such as linking his fingers, opening his palms and he has been able to observe his own fingers because his eyes and hand movements are well coordinated.

Pay attention to what you say because even if you don’t understand it yet, every word he hears will be recorded in his memory. The more you talk to him, the more wording he has.

Infant Age 3 – 4 Months

In the growth of this age babies have been able to chatter. Although not yet clearly true, he will be very excited to say the words that he has recorded in his memory. The baby can already be positioned to sit with your help. Make sure you support it properly. His feet will be trailing the floor when you set him up.

In addition, it is also able to imitate your expressions such as pouting and smiling widely. Because his chattering skills are good, start teaching him to say simple words like ‘mama’ or ‘papa’.

Infant Age 4 – 5 Months

At this age, babies can listen to adults talk. He was able to turn to the source of the voice he heard or turn when someone called him. He would laugh when he saw the funny expression. In addition, he can already give you kisses and hugs. Babies at this age are already able to recognize people. Then, maybe he’ll cry when he’s around people he doesn’t know.

The baby can already sit without your help, can already hold its own milk bottle and can throw toys. Avoid hanging a toy over his bed because he can already pull the toy and it will be dangerous if it happens to him.

Infant Age 5 – 6 Months

The digestive tract of the baby at the age of 6 months is already able to process food. In addition, at this age the risk of developing infections and allergies in digestion decreases. So, you can already give him solid food.

The baby can already crawl because the muscles of his arms and neck are already strong supporting his own body. He enjoys playing at this age and will also often try to attract your attention. He likes to see himself in the mirror. In addition, babies at this age are also already able to respond when you call them.
