Anemia is a disease of lack of red blood cell levels in the body. Though the function of red blood cells / RBC is very important for the body, which transports oxygen to all layers of the body. Reduced oxygen in certain parts of the body can cause the body to become tired quickly. Well, if tired already attacked, daily activities will be disrupted. At the end of the day, we become stressed.

Blood transfusion is the main treatment action in the event of acute bleeding. The bleeding is usually not noticed. Blood expenditure usually lasts little by little and for a long time.
There are 3 mechanism factors of the body that cause anemia:
1) Excessive destruction of red blood cells
This is called Hemolytic Anemia, caused due to infection or consumption of certain medications. So the immune system mistakenly considers red blood cells as foreign bodies that then destroy red blood cells.
2) Blood Loss
Red blood loss in large quantities can be affected by anemia also due to excessive bleeding when injured, such as during surgery. Or menstruation for women who are not balanced with the amount of iron in the body. Because iron is needed to make red blood cells.
3) Red blood cell production is insufficient
It’s called Aplastic Anemia, caused by a viral infection or exposure to toxic chemicals such as radiation, antibiotics, anti-disease medications, or cancer treatments that result in the spinal cord being unable to make enough red blood cells. Or lack of iron, lack of vitamin B12, folic acid, and vitamin C.

Symptoms for children who are iron deficient can result in developmental delays and behavioral disorders, such as problems with social interaction, decreased motor activity, and attention to decreased tasks. Prevention of Anemia
To avoid anemia, again I must remind to always maintain the health of the body to stay fit. Keep consuming cereals every day that usually contain iron, a balanced diet. Types of foods that contain a lot of iron are beef, egg yolks, green leafy vegetables, yellow vegetables and fruits, potato skins, tomatoes and raisins. Drinking coffee or the while eating can significantly lower the amount of iron absorbed. Also don’t forget vitamin C,as it helps the body absorb iron.
