Msg Causes Obesity
The first fact about MSG is that it is able to cause obesity. This is known from the results of studies conducted by injecting high doses of MSG in mice. After a while, mice injected with MSG turned out to experience a significant increase in weight.
It looks convincing, but this has not been proven to happen to humans. So if in mice it does manage to make obesity, but in humans it is still uncertain.
Msg Increases Appetite
There are several conflicting studies, where the first study mentioned that MSG can suppress hormones that will later twist a person’s appetite (Catecholamines), but the second study mentions that MSG actually has the opposite effect of adding appetite.
MSG Can Trigger Cancer
This research was conducted by a scientists and stated that excessive consumption of MSG can increase the growth of cancer cells in the body. But unfortunately he still can not be sure of the findings so other research is still needed.
