Word of grief came from the world of aviation. On Saturday, (1/9/2021) it was known that Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 flight route Jakarta-Pontianak is suspected to have crashed around laki Island, Kepulauan Seribu. The plane, which was known to be carrying 6 crew members and 56 passengers (46 adults, 7 children, and 3 infants), crashed after lost contact at about 14:40 WIB, 4 minutes after take-off from Soekarno-Hatta Airport at 14:36 WIB.
On Sunday (10/1/2021) the party from Basarnas resumed the search after previously only finding a sepihan that allegedly belonged to the plane in the form of wires. This time, basarnas used three methods in the search operation of the aircraft, namely by air, above and below sea level.
For this reason, Basarnas cooperated with the TNI and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) to assist in the search and evacuation of Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 aircraft whose location has been found where this point is suspected to be the crash point of the plane thanks to the signal given black box. Since the location was found, Basarnas went directly to the location point with a number of fleets from the Air Force (AU), Navy (NAVY) and Police.
Here are a number of fleet units deployed to assist in the search for Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 aircraft
