The journey of Diogo’s career before becoming a new star at Liverpool can be said to be quite difficult. Here’s the journey of Diogo Jota’s career in football:

A. Pacos de Ferreira (career beginning 2013-2015) and (career in senior team 2014-2016)

Prior to joining Liverpool, Diogo began his career studying football at Gondomar SC Academy from 2003 to 2013. In 2013-15, he was promoted to the main squad in the Portuguese League by joining Pacos de Ferreira where he was 17 years old. Along with this club, he still has to wait a season to get a chance to debut in the senior team.

On 19 October 2014, Diogo made his debut in Pacos de Ferreira’s senior team for the 2015–16 season. On his debut in the senior team, he competed in the Portugal Cup against Atletico SC Reguengos. Despite his youth, he managed to impress by contributing one goal to help Pacos to a 4–0 win against Atletico SC Reguengos. Since his stunning debut, Diogo has continued to get the chance to play until he attracts the attention of one of Spain’s elite teams, Atletico Madrid.

On 28 September 2020, he made his Premier League debut under the name Liverpool and managed to deliver a 3–1 win against Arsenal after scoring the third goal.
