That is, he made it past the trophy collection of former Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos. Marcelo currently only needs one more trophy to cement his status as the most successful player at Real Madrid.

Marcelo has likened his trophy collection to that of the most successful player in Real Madrid’s history, Paco Gento. So far Marcelo with Real Madrid has collected trophies: 2 Copa del Rey, 3 European Super Cups, 4 Champions Leagues, 4 Club World Cups, 5 Spanish Leagues, and 5 Spanish Super Cups.
