Starting from the beginning of his career, Lee after graduating he worked at Samsung SDS, a business venture of Samsung Group. After that he moved to another company. And finally a Japanese company, NHN Corporation (Next Human Network) managed to drink Lee.

On September 4, 2013, NHN changed its name to Naver Corporation, and he was its founder. It was there that he NAVER.com in 1999.

Naver.com was originally just a search engine like Google, and added a game as entertainment. And since its founding, Naver.com has been the most popular search engine in South Korea until now.
