Beyonce officially started her Renaissance World Tour at Stockholm’s Friends Arena, Stockholm, Sweden on Wednesday (10/5) evening local time.
According to a report by Variety on Wednesday (10/5), Beyonce’s first concert tour in about five years lasted for about three hours.
During that time, Beyoncé performed more than 35 songs from the album Renaissance and the musician’s previous hits.
“Just want to say: you guys make me very happy,” Beyonce said while addressing her fans, quoted from AFP.
“I see familiar faces, people who flew in from very, very far away to see the first show tonight,” Beyoncé said.
For this concert, Beyonce actually started her tour from Europe until June. After that, he will head to North America starting from Toronto on July 8.
Until now, 57 dates of the Renaissance World Tour have been recorded and only held in North America and Europe.
This Renaissance tour will be the third time Beyonce has held a tour which is titled a world tour but only held in Europe and North America.
Even so, many fans still enjoyed Beyoncé’s show. Especially at last night’s concert, Queen Bey showed many attractions, including two robots when performing Cozy.
Not only that, Beyonce also brought a series of unique and sophisticated costumes to the opening night of the Renaissance World Tour, including a dress whose pattern appeared when exposed to UV light by a robot.

Renaissance is the album that has topped the US Billboard 200 chart and is the first album by a female musician to occupy that position in 2022.
According to Luminate data reported by the Hollywood Reporter, Sunday (7/8) US time, Renaissance sold more than 332 thousand copies of album-equivalent units in its first week until August 4.
Of this total, 190 thousand sales were physical albums, 138 thousand were streaming equivalent albums (SEA), and four thousand were track equivalent albums (TEA).
Beyonce previously called Renaissance a three-part project. So, Variety says, the second part of the project could be a different new album, a feature length video, or the tour itself.
