Manchester City’s star player, Kyle Walker, is facing a dark period in his marriage. A series of infidelity scandals involving him have left his wife disgusted.
The new year for Manchester City’s captain, Kyle Walker, has begun on a sour note as his wife, Annie Kilner, officially announced their separation. Annie shared the news of their split on her Instagram account.
The English professional model confirmed the circulating rumors about the couple’s discord for some time. Kyle Walker has been accused of engaging in extramarital affairs.
Walker is even alleged to have filmed an affair with another woman last year. Additionally, the 33-year-old right-back is entangled in a legal dispute with Instagram influencer Lauryn Goodman.
The Instagram influencer is suing Kyle Walker over the paternity of her 3-year-old son. Goodman claims that Walker is the biological father of her child.
In her Instagram post, Annie Kilner expressed her sentiments, stating that she is fed up with what she has experienced during her marriage to Walker. “I am posting this in response to recent media inquiries about my marriage to Kyle. Especially in an effort to protect my family from media attention,” she wrote.
“Unfortunately, after years of living together and having 3 amazing children, I have decided to distance myself from Kyle,” her post continued.
While Annie Kilner has openly shared her stance on social media, Kyle Walker has not commented openly on his strained marriage. His last Instagram post was a week ago when the Citizens’ defender wished his followers a happy new year.
This couple first met in Sheffield when Walker was 17 years old and Annie was 15. After becoming friends, they grew closer and eventually got married in December 2021. Annie and Kyle share three children together – Riaan, Roman, and Reign.
