Real Madrid’s Third Consecutive La Liga Win vs. Celta Vigo

Date:

Real Madrid secured their third victory out of three matches at the beginning of La Liga.

Their third victim was Celta Vigo. Madrid won thanks to a solitary goal by Jude Bellingham at Abanca Balaidos on Saturday (August 26) early morning WIB. For Bellingham, the goal, which came from a header in the 81st minute, marked his fourth goal in three matches.

Bellingham has consistently scored goals in his first three appearances in La Liga. “Bellingham performed exceptionally well; he keeps scoring goals and contributing to the team,” said Real Madrid’s coach Carlo Ancelotti on the club’s official website. There was another goal in the Celta vs. Madrid match, but it was disallowed.

Celta’s striker, Jorgen Larsen, scored a goal in the 3rd minute, but VAR spotted a foul before the goal. A Celta player pulled the Real Madrid goalkeeper’s jersey, who was making his debut, Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Real Madrid could have taken the lead earlier if Rodrygo had successfully executed a penalty in the 68th minute.

This victory temporarily solidifies Madrid’s position at the top of the La Liga standings.
