Ariana Grande and her ex-husband Dalton Gomez have both officially initiated the process of divorcing each other, mirroring the actions of Grande’s rumored partner and “Wicked” co-star, Ethan Slater. Both the renowned singer and the luxury realtor have submitted divorce filings, effectively ending their marital relationship.
TMZ initially reported that Ariana Grande’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, submitted the divorce paperwork first on Monday, with Dalton Gomez quickly responding with his own filing. The report also indicates that the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place and had already settled all their financial matters before formally beginning the divorce proceedings. This process has been in motion for the past two months since their separation was confirmed in July, following two years of marriage.
Another source disclosed that Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have maintained a respectful attitude towards each other throughout the separation process. The reason for the delay in finalizing their divorce was primarily due to the need to work out the intricate details of their separation.
As previously mentioned, Ariana Grande has been romantically linked to Broadway star Ethan Slater, who, in July, also ended his marriage with Lilly Jay. The couple had married in 2018 and welcomed two children together last year.
Both Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have chosen to keep their divorce proceedings private and have refrained from making public statements about their split.
The upcoming theatrical release, “Wicked: Part One,” featuring Ariana Grande alongside Cynthia Erivo and Michelle Yeoh, is scheduled to hit theaters in late 2024.
