The peak evening of the 2024 Golden Globe Awards took place at The Beverly Hills Hilton, California, USA, on Sunday (1/7/2024). Several surprises unfolded at the 81st Golden Globes.

One of them was Barbie’s defeat in the main category of Best Musical or Comedy Film. It lost to “Poor Things.” However, the film starring Margot Robbie didn’t leave empty-handed as it won Best Soundtrack and the Special Cinematic Box Office Award.
Another surprise came from Leonardo DiCaprio, who was surpassed by Cillian Murphy for the film “Oppenheimer.” The same film also led Robert Downey Jr. to win Best Supporting Actor, surpassing Ryan Gosling in Barbie.
