Taylor Swift to Reveal ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’: A Journey of Rediscovery and Unveiled Treasures

Date:

Taylor Swift will re-release her old album titled “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” on October 27, 2023, amidst her activities for the “The Eras Tour” world tour. In a surprising announcement, Taylor Swift wrote through her personal Twitter account, “There’s an exciting surprise! The album ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ is on its way to you! The album ‘1989’ had a significant impact on my life, and I’m extremely enthusiastic.”

The album “1989” was originally released in 2014 under the Big Machine Records (BMR) label. However, Taylor Swift faced conflicts with the label regarding copyright and the distribution of her work without her consent. Therefore, Taylor Swift decided to re-record the songs from the album. In this re-recorded album, Taylor Swift adds the tag “Taylor’s Version” to reaffirm that this work is now entirely hers again.

“Honestly, this is one of my FAVORITE re-recordings I’ve ever done because the 5 songs from ‘From The Vault’ are incredibly amazing,” Taylor Swift continued in her tweet. “From The Vault” is the term used for Taylor Swift’s previously unreleased songs. Therefore, in several of her re-recorded albums, Taylor Swift also includes these “From The Vault” songs.

With excitement, Taylor Swift will include the unreleased songs in the album “1989 (Taylor’s Swift)” which will be released in two months. This album can already be pre-ordered through Taylor Swift’s official website.
