Lindsay Lohan Welcomes First Child, Names Him Luai, and Embraces Motherhood in Dubai

Lindsay Lohan has officially become a mother. She has just given birth to her first child with her husband, Bader Shammas.

Lindsay Lohan’s first child is a boy. He has been named Luai by his mother and father.

Luai, the name given to Lindsay Lohan and Bader Shammas’ first child, is derived from Arabic and means “shield” or “protector.”

“They are currently very happy with the birth of Luai,” said Lindsay Lohan’s representative in an official statement, Tuesday (July 18).

Lindsay Lohan gave birth to Luai in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Regarding the specific birth date of Luai, Lohan has kept it private.

Last March, 36-year-old actress Lindsay Lohan announced her first pregnancy. She shared the joyful news through a post on Instagram.

“We are blessed and excited!” Lindsay Lohan wrote in the caption of her post on Tuesday (March 14).

Lindsay Lohan is reported to be focusing on taking care of her child and her husband, Bader Shammas. Her husband works in the financial sector in Dubai.

After giving birth, Lindsay Lohan has chosen to settle down and raise her children in Dubai.

“It is safe there, and the quality of education is also good. Everything is different from my life in America,” Lindsay Lohan said in an interview.
